ex-Accenture Japan Ltd / IIT Bombay '21
As an enthusiastic programmer inspired by the power of code, I'm currently exploring deep learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP). My interests lie at the intersection of NLP, Human-Computer Interaction, and Cognitive Sciences. I believe that, despite differences in form and structure, languages share an underlying foundation that reveals our cognitive capabilities as a species, which can be studied using NLP.
A firm supporter of Free and Open Source Software, I've contributed to InstiApp, a platform that simplifies life at IIT Bombay. My NLP research projects include Generative Face Completion using W-GANs on the Celeb-A dataset and Image Caption Generation with Inception v3 and BERT during my time at IIT Bombay.
Throughout my journey, I've excelled as a Software Intern at Honeywell, a Data Science Intern at the Kalpataru Group, and the Manager of IIT Bombay's Web and Coding Club (WnCC). I express my creativity through designing personal illustrations, while also finding comfort in music and visual storytelling.
I've worked with Accenture Japan in Tokyo, where I played an essential role in digitally transforming IT systems for multiple clients, balancing program management with hands-on code development, testing, and deployment for building software and Generative AI-based web applications and earned two promotions in a single financial year for my work.
I am currently pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science at the University of Chicago.
